Journeys Beyond Belief
“Not every journey demands faith—some only ask for openness.”
These are not just letters. They are the real “currency” of life.
When you live in India as an atheist, a large number of cultural or sacred places—Char Dham, Ujjain, Shirdi, and many more—don’t easily make it onto your travel list. Your mind tells you “Why go?” because it’s not rooted in belief.
But here’s the interesting thing: there is no loss in going. Beliefs and biases are not the same—let’s not mix them.
This video shows the terrain and rituals of the walk around Mount Girnar — a trek spanning roughly 36 km and surrounded by lush forest and spiritual energy.
When I stayed in Mumbai for six months, friends and I visited the famed Ganesha Temple several times. Yet I entered the temple only once. For the rest of the visits, I waited outside. Why? Because the companionship, the local trains, the long walks, the conversations — those were worth more than the destination itself.

I also spent considerate time at Chaitya Bhoomi in Dadar, Mumbai — a place that aligned with my own likes and choices.
Eventually, one has to explore places not just for spiritual reasons but for ancient wisdom and modern learning alike.

Towards conclusion......
Alas! Coming to the first point - TEM.
“Exploration is not about changing beliefs, but broadening vision.”
🧠 My Thought :-
As I’ve written many times:
“Be a good listener. When you speak, you are just repeating what you already know. When you listen, you discover what you never knew.”
So live fully. Keep travelling.
