--- Transfer - A lesson for life ---
I have been serving in Department of Employment & Training, Government of Gujarat, in Baroda since November 2011.
Institute : Instructor Training Centre, a single institute all over Gujarat, offering modern and advanced courses at a very nominal fees.
Day by day, year by year, my love, infatuation and attachment towards ITC grew endlessly. Team work with colleagues was also a good subject to master at ITC. A lovely bonding with eachother had developed.
Even after completing five years in Baroda, even with all the hardships, even after exhaustive UpDown between home-town and workplace, irrespective of any season, I never came up with a complain for my job. No hatred. No worries. I was deeply in love with ITC.
January 2017 came with 'something new' for me.
TRANSFER TO HOME-TOWN
It is something that others keep waiting for.
It is a feeling that others are longing for since the joining date.
My transfer, for me, was a mixed feeling of happiness and sorrow.
Happiness - No more UpDown. No more stress. Good health. End of irregular dinners. Quality time for family. More time to complete my passion and my hobbies.
Sorrow - Unwillingness to leave ITC. A deep feeling of detachment. I am about to lose everything.... My chair, my desk, my section, my machines, my tools...... much more to add.

A New Turn - Another Perspective
However, it has given me a good lesson.
An important lesson useful for life.
- Nothing is permanent.
- Nothing is eternal. Everything has an end.
- Departure (death) is certain. But no one knows the last moment of life.
- More attachment leads to more sadness.
- Time keeps on changing.
We all are well aware about these facts of life.
Still, during the whole life, for 50-60-70 long years we live with an illusion of living forever.
We are not ready to accept that we, on this Earth, are just visitors.
On one specific day, this visit, this journey would come to an end.
If not retirement, at least transfer from here.......
Hence, one should be always prepared for this transformation.
Personally, I am totally a non-emotional guy. Such changes in life hardly affects me. But, if at this stage, if TRANSFER can bring a change in ME, then it can verily affect others in one or the other way.
February 2017 would be full of newness. I would surely begin my work with Zero Level Of Attachment.
